JESSIE J has been forced to pay £1million to the manager she dumped before she hit the big-time.

Music mogul Raymond Stevenson discovered the singer when she was 15 — and came up with her trademark “swagger”.Jessie and her management company had been in dispute with Stevenson for almost two years but will now finally meet his demands.Jessie, 25 — coach on BBC1’s The Voice — will hand over 20 per cent of her earnings from hit album Who You Are, said to currently total £5million.

It will come as a huge financial blow to the star — who sings “it’s not about the money, money, money” on No 1 hit Price Tag. Last night a music industry source told The Sun: “This is an absolutely massive payout.“Jessie is signed to the type of huge label who usually just get what they want.“Ray is extremely well respected, but he runs a relatively small operation and Jessie’s people thought he would just roll over.”Stevenson, who runs management agency 141a, discovered Jessie — real name Jessica Cornish — a decade ago when she was at The Brit music school.He signed her to a label at 19 — and when it went bust, he forked out £70,000 of his own cash to buy her out of the contract.Stevenson later took Jessie to the US and introduced her to top music industry execs, including former US X Factor judge LA Reid.But when they got back to the UK she got industry giants Crown — who also act for the Sugababes and Ellie Goulding — to represent her.They brokered a deal with Universal and Jessie has since released six UK Top Ten singles, including two No 1s.Last week she was named on the Sunday Times Rich List after raking in an £8million fortune to date.Last night Jessie and 141a released a joint statement saying: “The parties have reached an amicable resolution.”And Stevenson added: “141a is very proud of Jessie’s achievements — she is a very talented artist.”

Jessie J wants hopes to channel her individual sense of style into designing her own clothing range
The 'Price Tag' singer thinks she would encourage people to be as fearless with their look as she is.

She said: "I'd love to have a fashion range. I've been dressed by the amazing Vivienne Westwood and fashion is something I'm a huge fan of.
"I've never been a follower. The only people I look at for style are Rihanna and Nicki Minaj."

However, the feisty singer - who recently shaved her head in aid of Comic Relief - has decided to take charge of her own look and tone down her image because she felt her love of accessories and bold catsuits were detracting from her powerful voice.
Jessie, 25, told Top of the Pops magazine: "I have calmed down my look. Is it really necessary to wear all that jewellery and make-up at 7am? When you're tired you start to overcompensate by wearing too much bling.

"I love getting dressed up, but I want to be remembered for my singing. I'm styling myself at the moment. Fashion is something that I love to do."

The Voice coach made her return to the stage after shaving her head.

Jessie J has showed off her toned stomach in a number of snaps posted on Instagram.The Nobody's Perfect singer donned just a bra top, PVC jacket and fitted trousers for the snaps, which were taken before and after her gig in London on Wednesday (April 24) - Jessie's first show since shaving her hair off for Comic Relief

Jessie is seen striking a sexy pose as she clings on to a metal clothing rail in one of the pics, which she accompanied with the caption: "If you could see the way me and @isthathollyp were cracking up after these pictures.

"Trying to make the rail sexy and I even cropped the steamer out! Roar! Lol."

The Voice coach also did squats in another snap, while posing for a photo with her bodyguards and joking: "Love my security team! Mark and Dave! Who is who! #teambald."

The 25-year old later uploaded a pic of herself on stage, and said: "Wow first show with short hair! Amazing! Now I get why men have towels on stage! I need towels now! Lol."

In another stunning pic, Jessie added: "Sweaty after show! Now to the studio I go! Working hard! Feels good to be back! Massive shout out to the crowd you were killer tonight! What a vibe!"

Earlier this week, the Essex girl shared snaps of herself rehearsing in a skimpy outfit as well as teasing lyrics from her forthcoming new LP.

Jessie J Says It's "Good To Be Back" As She Performs For First Time With Shaved Head

The 'Who You Are' singer jokes how she needs more towels on stage now with her latest look.

Jessie J took to Twitter last night (24^th April) to tell fans it was great to be back performing as she made her first on stage appearance with her shaved head in London.

The 'Who's Laughing Now' star performed at an Adobe Summit party in the capital and said she was heading straight to the studio after her performance.

"Sweaty after show! Now to the studio I go! Working hard! Feels good to be back! Massive shout out to the crowd you were killer tonight! What a vibe! X," she tweeted.

The Voice coach also joked how she needs more towels on stage now with her head getting sweaty.

She added: "On stage tonight! Wow first show with short hair! Amazing! Now I get why men have towels on stage! I need towels now! Lol " 

The 'Domino' singer said goodbye to her locks for charity back in March and is currently busy working on her new album

Jessie has been updating fans on progress of the record for the past few months and recently tweeted lyrics from new songs on the social networking platform.

Jessie is also among the named confirmed this morning to be appearing at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013.

The 'Domino' singer is confirmed to be returning for this summer's event at Wembley Stadium on 9th June.

Jessie J will return to the Capital FM Summertime Ball with Vodafone for her third year in a row this summer.

The 'LaserLight' singer will be taking to the stage at Wembley Stadium on 9th June as part of the newly announced line-up.
 
Jessie was confirmed for this year's Summertime Ball early this morning (25th April), and joins a host of other big names such as Taylor Swift and Will.i.am for the annual event.

The 'Domino' singer is currently hard at work on the follow-up to her 2011 debut album 'Who You Are', and has already started teasing her fans with details about new music over the past few months.

The Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 will also feature special guest host Justin Timberlake, while tickets go on sale this Friday (26th April) from 8am.

The Voice UK judge posted a series of new snaps from a recent dancer rehearsal, showing off her hot bod in a sheer top.

Matching her tied-up shirt with a black bra and matching briefs, Jessie flaunted her toned legs as she strutted her stuff in a pair of heeled boots.

The 25-year-old posed up a storm for the new pictures, revealing she didn't realise she was being photobombed by a pal in one.

She explained in the caption: "Hahahaha I didn't even know @emilnava was photo bombing while I took a little sneaky break! Woah!…"
