The 'Price Tag' singer has actively decided not to read all her Twitter comments because she finds the personal attacks very hurtful, especially when she's coping with a heart condition and managing the problem to perform for her fans.

In an interview with Time Out magazine, she said: ''It's hard. I still have a heart deficiency and have days where I struggle. The fans don't get that sometimes. The abuse you get if you have to cancel a show ... It's scary.

''With social media, young people use words of hatred so flippantly now. It's either 'I LOVE YOU!' or 'I HATE YOU AND I WANT YOU TO DIE'. There is no middle ground. Everything's an extreme because people want to be noticed ...

''I tend not to read my social media timeline as much as I used to, because I try to lead a very positive life and Twitter can be quite dark sometimes.''

The 25-year-old star hates being hounded by fans in public when she's trying to go about her daily life, especially when she's in a compromising situation, and those moments make her lose ''faith'' in humanity.

She quipped: ''In summer 2011, I broke my foot while filming an advert. I got rushed to A&E, and as I was being pushed into a room, people were filming and taking photos. That's the bit I hate. Those are the moments when I lose faith in the public.

''At the time I was just thinking: you've not bought a ticket to come and see me right now, please understand that this is a very personal moment. Even a doctor asked for my autograph.''

The 25-years old singer has said keeping off the booze has helped her stay in shape and stay focused for her tour.

ONE of the perks of being a pop star is having access to an endless flow of free champers.

But Jessie J has passed up on that particular freebie – because she has quit booze altogether.

The singer, 25, hasn’t touched alcohol for a year and has  revealed for the first time why she stopped.

Essex girl Jessie said: “I haven’t had any alcohol for a year – October 15 last year was the last time I had a drink.

“It has made a difference. Honestly, I think when you live cleaner, your mind is cleaner.”

Speaking at the opening night of her Alive stadium tour in Belfast on last week, Jessie said that staying off the sauce has contributed towards her trim physique.

The star has been showing off her fantastic figure in an array of catsuits, floaty dresses and sequins.

The It’s My Party star said: “I’ve been working out loads and having protein shakes, making sure my diet is right and just being vocally prepared. This show is hard on my vocals.”

Fortunately, Jessie doesn’t feel as if she is missing out on any Geordie Shore-style nightclubbing antics – as she isn’t into that scene.

She insisted: “Not drinking hasn’t been too tough on my social life or going out – as I don’t have many friends.

“I mean that in a positive way. I have the friends I need and that’s it. They fit in my life.”

What Jessie might be saving in bar bills she seems to be making up for with her own stylist.

After ditching her cartoon ­character look last year and parting ways with her fashion man Karl Willett, she has turned to DIY diva dressing.

Jessie said: “Styling myself hasn’t saved me loads of money at all because I don’t get lent stuff any more.

“I have to buy it myself now. But at least I get to keep it, which is great. I used to hate it when I got to wear an amazing coat just the once.

“I feel like I look simpler now and that it’s all about my voice.”

And not vodka.

Jessie J has announced 'Thunder' as the name of her brand new single.

The 'Domino' star confirmed the news this morning on Twitter that 'Thunder' will be the third song to be released from her brand new album 'Alive'.

"My next UK single is…Thunder thunder thuuuuunddddeeeerrrr!!!!!" Jessie posted to reveal the new single today (18th October).

'Thunder' follows lead single 'Wild' and latest release 'It's My Party' as the latest song to be lifted from her second studio album 'Alive', which also launched several weeks ago.

The news of Jessie's next release comes fresh from Jessie launching her 'Alive' UK tour this week with a show in Belfast, Ireland, which is set to continue over the course of the next few weeks.

The 'Domino' singer brought her second studio album to life with a lively show featuring both new songs and old fan-favourites.
Jessie also showed off a unique variety of stage outfits for her opening night, at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
Among her outfits for the evening were a red sequinned leopard, a purple silk gown and a cutaway chiffon skirt over a beaded bodysuit.

Jessie J has hit out at two-faced celebrities and pop stars and claims many stars are not who they seem off-screen.

The 'Domino' singer, who returned with new album 'Alive' this week, refused to name any stars in particular, but said she knows some people who portray a completely different image away from the cameras.

"I won't mention names, but I've met artists who are so 'on it' on camera or on stage, so the audience and media think they're like that," Jessie revealed to Daily Star. "But then you see them off-stage and they're mean, miserable and late."

Last week the UK

singer was spotted shooting a new music video with Robin Thicke for their duet 'Calling All Hearts', and revealed the pair even had a pink flamingo on set.

Jessie J has confessed that she wants to record a collaboration with Ed Sheeran for a repackage of her new album 'Alive'.

The 'Who You Are' singer told Digital Spy that she keeps iTunes playlists of tracks that never make the final cut of her records.

"In my iTunes I've got playlists and one's like, 'Never play, never use, never let anyone hear'. Then there's the 'Random songs' and then there's 'Repack'," she said. "Hopefully I want to do a repackage, because there's a song I really want to do with Ed Sheeran.

She added: "I keep messaging him, but he's so busy. I'm like, 'C'mon Ed - let's take it back to the days when it was me and you on Old Street doing an urban gig'".
