Jessie J Reveals She Will Feature On Dizzee Rascal's New Album

The 'Who You Are' singer says it's "exciting" working with the British rapper and chats about her new song 'Wild'.

Jessie J has revealed that she is set to feature on Dizzee Rascal's upcoming new studio album.

The 'Domino' singer recruited the rapper for her new single 'Wild' as well as US star Big Sean and told Capitalfm.com that it was great to have talents from both sides of the pond on one song.

Speaking about how the collaboration came together, she said: "We wrote the song and I actually had a middle eight and I said to Claude Kelly, who's the executive producer on this album, 'I feel like this should have a rapper on it' and I was like 'how about two?'"

She continued: "And I was like 'what about someone really British and someone really American'."

Jessie said a "mutual respect" with herself and Dizzee helped make the team-up on both albums take place.

"And so Dizzee was obviously in talks and he's got new stuff coming out – I'm actually on Dizzee's record as well – so that's exciting," she said. "It's nice to always work with people that mutually there's a respect for and we're both on each other's record."


There was also huge praise for Big Sean – who has previously worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown.

"Big Sean I'm a big fan of and he's coming up in the UK and around the world. I'm always in support of new people coming through and I think he's a great energy and his flow is really unusual," she added.

The singer continued: "And I knew Dizzee would just come in hard and you know he has, they both just smashed it but in completely different ways."

"So I just felt like it was a really great example to go we can bring in the UK and we can bring in the US and we can make it great."

The 'Domino' star gets raunchy in the promo for her latest single featuring Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal

Jessie J has released the official music video for her latest single release 'Wild'.

The 'Who's Laughing Now' star released the track at midnight on Sunday and went straight to the third spot on last weekend's Vodafone Big Top 40 within 24 hours of the track's release.

The promo features her stripping down to a raunchy two-piece as she gyrates to camera and writhes around on the floor.

She's also seen sporting leopard print body spray in the video – filmed by director Emily Nava.

James Arthur And Jessie J To Support Justin Timberlake At Phoenix Park Gig

The 'Impossible' star will perform at the huge gig in Dublin later this summer. 

James Arthur and Jessie J are set to support Justin Timberlake in concert in Ireland.

'Impossible' singer James revealed the news on Twitter to his fans yesterday evening by posting a photo of the concert poster.

The X Factor winner tweeted: "Ladies and gents I am happy to announce that I will be supporting the legend that is @jtimberlake 10th July at Phoenix Park #LOVE."

He added: "And @jessiej too two of my favourite artists in the world this is a very proud moment for me.. Thanks for all your support guys seriously."

The singer is currently working on material for his new album, which is reportedly due out in June.

Jessie J Enjoys Mammoth Shopping Trip After Unveiling New Song 'Wild'

The 'Who You Are' singer is getting ready to officially unveil her brand new song. 

Jessie J embarked on a mammoth shopping trip in London with her best friend this week, fresh from giving fans their first listen to her new single 'Wild'.

The 'Domino' star treated fans to an acoustic video recording of the new song on Wednesday (22nd May), after being pictured out for the day visiting some of the UK Capital's most popular fashion stores like Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen.

Jessie and her friend also visited places like Dover Street Market and Acne and emerged after five hours of shopping with a number of shopping bags, while the UK star opted to dress casual in a pair of Converse trainers, wet-look leggings and a white t-shirt.

The 'Who You Are' singer has been steadily teasing her new song 'Wild' over the past week, which features rappers Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean, and gave an impromptu performance of the track during a Google+ hangout with fans two days ago.

Jessie J has posted the official artwork for her brand new single 'Wild'.

The 'Who's Laughing Now' singer posted the image to her Instagram page last night and also teased the unveiling of the track for Sunday (27^th May).

"@bigseangood @dizzeerascal fancy getting #WILD ON SUNDAY?" she wrote alongside the shot.

The track is the first to be taken from her new second studio album. 

 

The track also features rappers Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal and Jessie treated fans to an acoustic performance of the song this week during a one minute teaser.
Meanwhile, the singer will be back at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 next month on a line-up that includes the likes of Taylor Swift, The Wanted and Robbie Williams.

Jessie J has released a video of herself performing an acoustic version of new single 'Wild'.

The track will feature rappers Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean and has been teased by the singer for the past week.

Taking to her Twitter account last night (22^nd May), The Voice coach told fans to go to her official site "now".

On there is her performance alongside a quote and the word "Intrigue".

"It's scary opening yourself up to the world, to create intrigue around your life. It's also the most exhilarating feeling to feel free," she wrote.

The Voice coach has been teasing fans with her new single and album for months posting song lyrics and messages to her 'Heartbeats' on Twitter.

Following the success of her debut album ‘Who You Are’, homegrown talent Jessie J has recently announced that her comeback single is set to feature rappers Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean. The singer took to her Twitter last night to announce that the track, the first from her forthcoming album, is set to be called ‘Wild’…

“MY FIRST WORLDWIDE SINGLE IS CALLED ‘WILD’ FEAT @BigSean AND @DizzeeRascal GO to http://www.jessiejofficial.com to let the fun begin! #jessiewild,” she tweeted.

Jessie J’s songwriting partner Claude Kelly recently spoke to Rap-Up.com where he revealed that the ‘Who’s Laughing Now’ songstress was 98% done with the new record.

“Jessie is doing something that right now would probably be unheard of in that she’s not apologizing for big vocals,” he said.

“It’s a lot of big vocals, a lot of vocal tricks, but still huge pop choruses.

However fans may not have to wait much longer as the star posted: “MY FIRST WORLDWIDE SINGLE IS CALLED 'WILD' Feat @BigSean and @DizzeeRascal GO tohttp://www.jessiejofficial.com  to let the fun begin! #jessiejwild.” (sic)

She then followed the big anouncement with a cryptic message teasing what appears to be lyrics from the single: "Everything starts with a WISH but everything can be real" ‪@jessiej‬ ‪#jessiejwild‬."

Following the exciting news the 25-year-old uploaded a video of herself making her sophmore album onto her official website.

Last week Jessie confirmed that she had finished shooting the video for 'Wild' and completed work on the album in the space of 10 days celebrating the accomplishment by posting childhood pictures on her twitter page.

The eventual winner of the show was crowned as Candice Glover after she beat the Kree Harrison to the crown.

The 'Domino' singer tells fans that she's also seen the first edit of the video for her brand new single.

Jessie J has taken to Twitter to post a series of new pictures from her childhood and teased the release of her second album.

The 'Who's Laughing Now' star shared old newspaper clippings and shots of herself in Bugsy Malone in a school play.

The star has also been tweeting about finishing her new album as well as seeing a first cut of the music video for her next single.

She wrote: "So in the last 10 days. I shot my first video. Finished my 2nd album. Shot the album cover and have seen the first edit of the first single!" 

Jessie has been working on the follow-up to 2011's 'Who You Are' for over a year and recently confirmed she had selected the final tracklisting.

This year's event features the biggest line-up of all time as well as Justin Timberlake hosting the show.

The 'Do It Like A Dude' star also recently returned to performing for the first time since shaving her head for charity.

Jessie is also among the stars set to perform at Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2013.

Jessie J Has Revealed that She's finally finished her second album.

The ‘Domino’ hitmaker has been working on the record incessantly for months now, determined to make it a worthy follow up to her debut album ‘Who You Are’, which enjoyed immense chart success upon it’s The Voice coach revealed on Twitter last night that she is finished all her work on the new songs and that all left to do is the mixing and production, before it’s ready for general release.
The singer tweeted:
“I’m in the studio finishing the last song for the album! Then guess what…ALL songs & vocals for album 2 are now complete. WOW!!!!! What a journey!”

She added: “Now to finish production. Mix it. Master it. Put it on a CD…and share it with all u amazing heartbeats. Not long now!  .”
Jessie continued:
“So important to remember. Nothing happens over night…. You gotta work!”
Just a few days ago the ‘Laserlight’ singer spoke of her favourite album track to date and told her fans:

“Recording what I think may be my favourite album track today… Feels soooo good to sing. Sooooo delicious! Wooooo”
Jessie will return to our screens this weekend in The Voice’s double bill battle rounds. Airing on Saturday and Sunday night the coaches will be seen pitting their acts against one in another in sing off duets, before choosing just one from each pairing for the next round.
The live shows for the new series start next month and it has been rumoured that Jessie may perform one of her new tracks on the final rounds.

And Jessie J was back to her old tricks on Sunday as she tweeted from the recording studio where she was putting the finishing touches to her new album.

Back where she belongs, the Price Tag singer and Voice coach admitted that she was enjoying being able to record vocals again.

Gearing up for the release of her second album, Jessie has admitted that she loves the build up that is surrounding it, maintaining momentum with the new photos.

In one picture, the star can be seen blowing a kiss down the camera lens, while the recording studio can be seen in the background.

'Recording what I think may be my favourite album track today... Feels soooo good to sing. Sooooo delicious! Wooooo,' she wrote on her social networking account.

Clearly back in her element, the Laserlight hitmaker wanted all of fans to know that they had something in special in store.

In another picture, Jessie wears a pair of huge round-lens sunglasses and puts her hand in front of her face as she gives her best pout.

In the background her singer-songwriter friend Daley can been seen, suggesting that he has been collaborating with her on the new tracks.

'Look who came by the studio to say hello! I stole his #eyebrows,' she wrote alongside the picture that she posted.

In a bid to keep everyone as interested as possible in her follow-up album, the star has been releasing titbits of information to keep everyone happy.

She even added some new song lyric on Sunday, writing: 'We chased the light and forgot the dark" #album2.'

Posting to her website recently, she wrote: 'Mystery is so rare now. Most music is leaked these days. I am enjoying the build up to my second album. Its as exciting as the first time round. I want to remember every second of it. Enjoy it with me. Enjoy the tease, the mystery, the build up...'

And it has also been revealed that the star is to return to the Capital FM Summertime Ball for her third year in a row this summer, where she will join will.i.am and Taylor Swift.

Jessie J showed off her impressive pins in a hot-pink skater skirt and crop top for her performance at the 2013 Gabrielle's Gala at Battersea Power Station 2 night ago.

The Voice coach performed for the likes of Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace at the event, which supports Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for cancer research.

Miss. J completed her look with chunky gold jewellery and matching heels, also exposing her toned stomach in the outfit.

As well as the Animal Shelter stars, Alexandra Burke and Dionne Broomfield were also present at the bash, while Kelly Brook's ex Thomas Evans made his red carpet debut with new girlfriend, Jessica Lowndes.

Jessie is currently gearing up tot the release of her second studio album - with the campaign set to kick off this month.

Jessie J signs up for Durham cricket club Summer Nights Live gig

JESSIE J and a host of other chart-toppers are gearing up to play outdoor gigs in the region this summer.

The Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground in Chester-le-Street has announced its Summer Nights Live programme for 2013 and, over two nights, Jessie J, Blue, 5ive, Atomic Kitten, Charlie Brown and A.M.E will be taking to the stage.

The Voice and pop superstar Jessie J, who has sold more than 12 million records worldwide, will be headlining on July 20 at the 15,000-capacity ground. She returns to the region after playing at Alnwick Castle last year.

Her single Domino, was the most played song in the UK last year and she was the first female artist to score six top 10 hits from one album.

Jessie, who started her career as a songwriter writing lyrics for the likes of Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus before penning her triple platinum album Who You Are, is currently in the studio recording her eagerly-awaited second album, as well as being a mentor on the BBC hit series The Voice.

Charlie Brown and A.M.E will also be on her bill.

The previous night, July 19, will see The Big Reunion’s 5ive, Blue, and Atomic Kitten hitting the stage.

The trio are also at the Metro Radio Arena this Sunday on The Big Reunion tour, while Blue and 5ive have also announced gigs at Newcastle’s O2 Academy and City Hall respectively.

“Securing these great acts is fantastic news for the cricket ground as it builds on its growing reputation as a prestigious open-air concert venue,” said Durham County Cricket Club chief executive, David Harker.

“It’s not unusual for us to attract superstars from the world of sport but we are incredibly excited to welcome these artists to Emirates Durham ICG.

“Our Summer Nights Live Programme will really put us on the map as an ic- onic venue for fantastic entertainment. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3 and we are expecting demand to be very high from the offset, so we really would encourage fans to buy their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets for the concerts start at £25 for the Friday and £32 for Saturday and are available from this Friday online via the Durham County Cricket Club Website or in person at the box office at The Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground.
